History of Petworth Park Guided Walk

This 2 hour guided walk explores the historic areas of the Deer Park, how it was used and how it changed. Covering the various areas of the Park and what they were used for throughout history, the walk explores Coney Park and Little Park all the way to Outwood and the lost gardens and commons as well as the emergence of the Brownian Deer Park.

This is a free event but booking is essential as we have a limited capacity.

Children must be accompanied by an adultMeet your tour guide in the main visitor car park, by the toilets.

Please dress appropriately for the weather. Sturdy footwear is recommended. This walk involves uneven and sloping terrain and is a two hour walk so a reasonable level of fitness is required.

Dogs on short leads welcome. The walk is free, with donations welcome.
