Heritage Open Days at Petworth House & Park

Join us over the Petworth Heritage weekend to explore the extraordinary art collection in the striking state rooms of the Baroque inspired House. Take a stroll in the expansive Capability Brown landscaped Park, where you might spot some of the fallow deer herd. Relax in the Pleasure Garden, the perfect place for a picnic.

On Sunday 17th, A Line art will be inviting you to create a large paper model of Petworth town, inspired by the local area. Simply turn up to the Battery house between 11am-3.30pm and help draw, colour and decorate a landmark to be part of the ‘Fold Your Town’ creation.

Discover the local history on a one hour walking tour of Petworth town on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th. Please check at reception on the day for timings. Spaces will be limited, tickets allocated on a first come, first served basis.

We will be open for free for Heritage Open Days on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th September 2023
