Tilgate Park and Nature Centre

Tilgate Park, Tilgate drive, Crawley, West Sussex RH10 5PQ

The Award winning Tilgate Park and Nature Centre, situated on the outskirts of Crawley, is a true gem. Boasting a mix of open spaces, lakes, woodlands and landscaped gardens including a Walled garden with an event space, children's maze and a café. There are water sports on the main lake, a children's outdoor play area, a junior and an adult Go Ape tree top adventure course, a Smith and Western restaurant and even a golf course on site.

The Nature Centre is open all year round (excluding 25th December) and is home to amazing animals from around the world ranging from the much loved meerkats, pigs and goats to the weird and wonderful creatures such as tapir, capybara, macaws, chameleons, wallabies and reindeer. Animal experiences with the meerkats and tapir are available (needs to be booked in advance) and even a junior keeper experience for the day. Birthday parties can also be booked in our adjacent Barn with animal experiences included.

Tulleys Farm

Turners Hill Road, Turners Hill, Crawley, West Sussex

Tulleys Farm has evolved into a countryside venue for Seasonal Family Events such as the world famous Halloween festivals. The Farm is the home of our famous Tea Room and Garden, with Play Area and Animal Patch - OPEN DAILY year round. Tulleys is also the ideal place to hold your function, business or family, festival and weddings.

Our Family Events includes spooky daytime fun for younger children and Night time Scares for over 15s at the Shocktober Fest Scream Park. 'Haunts' include the Haunted Hayride, The Cellar Haunted House, Street Theatre and lots more thrills!.

The year closes with our hugely popular Family Christmas Event and Christmas Store, including 'Santa's Post House' 'Santa's Sleigh Ride' fun Puppet Shows and lots of fun.

West Dean Gardens

West Dean, Near Chichester, West Sussex

West Dean Gardens near Chichester is one of the greatest restored gardens open to the public in England and are open to the public from February to December. Since the storm of 1987 a bold re-development programme has been carried out to bring the nineteenth century gardens into the twenty-first century.

Come and enjoy a relaxing walk round the gardens taking in the walled gardens, 300ft Edwardian pergola, award-winning Sunken Garden, Victorian glasshouses and 50 acre arboretum. The Gardens Restaurant is open to all for delicious lunches and afternoon teas before or after your visit. The Shop offers an imaginative and unusual range of gifts and plants on sale at very reasonable prices.
