Details will be much the same again as for the last four years, as below.
Working with Saint Hill Manor, Sussex Top Attractions Ltd again brings you a
Group Visits/Days Out Fair combined with a Brochure Giveaway on Friday February
18th 2011, between 10am - 1pm. Free admission!
There will probably be over 80 attractions represented for you to meet and talk to, and who can give
you brochures, leaflets, posters.

BROCHURE GIVEAWAY
For those of you who are familiar with the Michelham Priory
brochure giveaway (Thurs March 11th 2010), all you need to know is that the
brochure giveaway at Saint Hill Manor is run on the same lines.
The Group Visits event and Brochure Giveaway will be held in the building on the left.
There is ramp access for wheelchairs, trolleys.
THE DAYS OUT/GROUP VISITS FAIRS
First, to emphasise this is not in competition with the Tourism
South East (TSE) Group Travel Fairs. This event is complementary to, and
in addition to, the TSE
Group Travel Fairs at Denbies Wine Estate near Dorking and the Royal Marines
Museum at Southsea near Portsmouth in February 2011.

Saint Hill Manor is approx 1.7 miles south west of East Grinstead. Full

COST?
There isn't any. Parking is free, entry is free, admission is free, light
refreshments are free, guided tours of Saint Hill Manor are free.
DETAIL
There is more than ample car parking space a short distance away on the site.
Everything takes places within one building - the event, refreshments,
toilets.
You will be very comfortable - the Great Hall is spacious, wall-to-wall
carpeted, with oak-panelled walls, plus air-conditioning, under-floor heating,
good lighting, a P A system. The refreshment area is indoors and immediately outside
the Great Hall.
REFRESHMENT
There will be free tea, coffee and biscuits for visitors all morning. There will be plenty of tables and chairs to sit at, to
enjoy it.
BOOKING
There is no need to book, or to tell us you are coming. Just keep an eye
on this web page for updates.
GETTING THERE
Road - Saint Hill Manor is a short distance off the B2110
from East Grinstead to Turners Hill. Use the postcode RH19 4JY for SatNav
or with www.streetmap.co.uk
Rail - there is a half-hourly 55 minute service from London
Victoria to East Grinstead.
Traveline
is a very useful web site giving bus, coach and train information and will
probably help you wherever you come from by public transport.
Advice from Saint Hill Manor: on the question of
buses, it’s a number 84 from just round from the railway station (you should
enquire at the station for exact point of pick-up). However, we advise
people to take the taxi as the bus costs £2 and the taxi only costs between
£3.50 - £4.80. You have to wait for the bus (it runs every 2 hours by
the looks of it), it goes round the houses a bit and drops you off at the far
end of the estate and you have to walk quite a bit. So, taxi is the best.
Maybe some people imagine it’s very far and costs £10 - £15 but it’s a
reasonably short cheap trip, especially if there’s more than one person!
ENCOURAGEMENT
If you call at the Sussex Top Attractions stand, we will give bona fide group
organisers, coach operators, teachers a complimentary booklet of Trade Passes,
which enables 2 persons to visit a selection of 6 attractions free of charge for
inspection visits.
Saint Hill Manor will be offering free guided tours of the Manor during the
day, on the half-hour every half-hour.
