Beer and cider enthusiasts can enjoy a mouth-watering bank holiday weekend in Eastbourne this May. The three day ‘Beer and Cider by the Sea’ festival on Eastbourne’s seafront Western Lawns between 24th and 26th May, is set to be bigger and better in what will be its sixth year!
Fine ales and cask ciders to enjoy, all kept in the best cellar conditions plus bottled beers of the world, cocktails, wines & gin's. There are CAMRA volunteers on hand too to offer advice and tips for a perfect beverage, plenty of seating and a warm welcome are guaranteed!

Beach Life kicks off the summer holidays with an adventure filled weekend on Eastbourne seafront at the south coast's coolest, fastest and most intense FREE sports festival. Attracting huge crowds, Eastbourne's International Airshow boasts a 2 mile flying display line along Eastbourne seafront. Airbourne has previously featured the very best in military and civilian aviation display teams and regularly includes the RAF Typhoon, Chinook, The Blades, Wingwalkers and the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, plus many more.

Ground displays open 10am - 6pm daily, with flying from lunchtime until approx. 5pm.

Beachy Head Marathon

The Eastbourne Beachy Head Marathon is one the biggest off-road marathons in the UK. Formerly known as the Seven Sisters Marathon, it is popular for its scenic and challenging route through the South Downs National Park countryside. Great for runners, joggers or walkers looking to get fit. The 10k run will set off just after the marathon with a route comprising of breathtaking views and challenges, taking a shorter looping route across the Downs to Belle Tout Lighthouse and back.
