Price changes at Wakehurst May 2018

Wakehurst

Ardingly, Haywards Heath, Sussex

1st May 2018 - 31st March 2019

Price changes at Wakehurst May 2018

Wakehurst is changing its day admission and membership prices from 1st May. This will see a slight rise in price – the first for 4 years.
There will also be a small rise in the cost of Wakehurst’s lower band of parking charges.
Wakehurst is part of Royal Botanic Gardens Kew, which is a charitable organisation and relies increasingly on self-generated income to support its important science, horticulture, conservation and education work.
Self-generated revenue forms a vital and increasingly important part of the Royal Botanic Gardens Kew’s funding as we reduce our reliance funding from the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra).

Price Changes:

• Children (16 and under) remain FREE
• Adult day ticket admission will rise from £12.50 to £12.95
• Friends of Wakehurst Direct Debit membership will rise from £25 to £27.50, non-direct debit rises from £30 to £32.50
• 1.5 hours of car parking rises from £2 to £2.50

The new pricing is in line with other similar attractions in the area.
